Meet ... Minorities Oppressed Still Strugglin Blacks Uniting Real Niggas

Hailing all the way from Muskegon, Michigan; MossBurn, an acronym for “Minorities Oppressed Still Struggling Blacks Uniting Real Niggas” Has been making headway with his most recent mixtape “You Already Know What It Is – Volume One”. In spite of  Muskegon being one of the worst regions in America in regards to unemployment, MossBurn remains focused, as demonstrated by his smooth wordplay, deep, and intricate lyrics, and a blue collar work ethic that enables him to push himself harder, further, and faster, in a part of the world that has seemingly fallen into a mass standstill. MossBurn credits his deceased mother as his biggest influence on his music. When asked what drives him to make music he says his family and not to mention he loves making music. I listened to a few of his songs prior to listening to his sound cloud songs and I love his tracks “The Weatherman and “Flexxin”. His beats really make the tracks and compliment his lyrics well. When asked what he considers his genre of music he said “It’s Count music, that’s trap music on a whole other level.” MossBurn is making strides to rise and understands it takes persistence and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. When asked what separates him from other rappers in his area or in the mainstream he replied with a confident and very sure of himself answer by saying “That’s simple! I’m actually good at it. That’s what separates me from the rest.” I love his confidence and wish him nothing but the best as he continues to make a name for himself and adding his name to an already exclusive list of Michigan Emcees. I have included his sound cloud information so you can check that out, as well as the audio video for his track Flexxin. I hope my readers and passer byers enjoy this Artist Spotlight and show Mossburn some love!
