YottMusic: All Black| Video Bomb w/ Rate

I can't even lie this my jam. I have played it on Hood Watch as well as faithfully played it on my personal playlist and I have even featured "All Black" as well as other YottMusic songs on here. I am so glad to see that there is visuals for this dope track and it was a pleasure to review it because it was a literal portrayal of what I think about when I hear "All Black" I loved how it started by showcasing a prominent landmark in St. Petersburg. The small story line aided in getting you prepared for when the beat actually dropped. It was shot by St. Pete's own Charlie  Browne and features a group of people in all black really letting you know that if it comes down to it they about their issue. I think how it started with the classical music and serene message scene was a clever way of painting the illusion that the song was anything but hype but I think upon them getting out of the elevator, viewers already know what was up. I have included a rate as well as the video below make sure to check out YottMusic's  most recent work mixtape The Renaissance.

Dreams $old Separately Review

So Mighty Jai reached out a while back and asked me to check out his mixtape
"Dreams $old Separately" and off rip I am just a lover of the usage of old samples. It simply gives the track an automatic plus for me because it gives it a timeless feel. I liked that it started out with an old feel and as I transitioned through each song there were different genre touches to each song. Listening to "King Solomon" I got a more modern rap feel but take the song "Deep" and I get a more cutthroat look into Might Jai's life. I loved the total Hip Hop vibe. It is always refreshing to come across an artist that isn't talking just about money, cars, and  hoes. There are bigger problems in the world and I'm glad he sheds life to those problems. I thoroughly enjoyed  this mixtape and can't wait to hear more from this dope artist. Also let me not forget to mention he included spoken words over music! That was another plus since I am a poet myself. I really appreciated the music offered and definitely recommend this mixtape.

All Hail Mighty Jai!! Check out "Dreams $old Separately" On Datpiff.com

Ten on Top Five Below(Top10andTop5)

I know Top Ten and My Top Five comes sometimes frequent and sometimes weeks may go by before I post, but it often is due to the fact that I am spending quality time with music. I am taking my time to listen to each song, album, and mixtape. I want to know how this song affects my mood. Does it keep me hype? Are the lyrics meaningful? Can I see myself in a club vibing to it? Over time I develop my all time favorites because you know you like a song when you find yourself playing it everyday. It's something like a classic song like "Georgia Dome" by the Ying Yang Twins. If I was to hear that it would take me back to when it came out and how much I enjoyed it then. Some of the songs are repeats and some are old classics that I just can't get enough of and others are new to some and old to others. Enjoy the list music lovers and I am looking to check out  female RNB, Rap,Pop,Soul, and Hip Hop artist if you read this blog and know of anyone I am placing my email below. If you are already making music and want people to know more about you and would like to be featured on E2TS you can also use the email.
Enjoy My musical selections

Kendrick Lamar is in Control (My take on the K.L Control verse)

So I said I would give my take on that infamous Kendrick Lamar "Control" verse and here it is... Kudos!!!! Mr. Lamar, for challenging these rap cats! I mean come on a little healthy competition is always good. Now I've heard quite a few responses to his verse and I say to the responders "ok, cool you responded, now what are you going to do now to heighten your music?" I mean because clearly he was calling folks out because he knows their potential, have seen their work, and he has actually worked with a few of them before this project. I know Big Sean was like "damn man, I gave him a verse on my record and he murdered it.” I like how everybody is all in a frenzy about not liking it because he named dropped some of his peers, but what you gone do about it? I don't think it's a cause of alarm to beef, tweef, or any other hater inspired action. I do think it calls for rappers to really come with their A game. Sure we know your quantity of work but what is your quality? I want to see more rappers use their minds to lyrically transport me into their rhymes like Biggie or Tupac. I want to feel that you eat, shit, and bleed the shit that you talking about. He mentioned J. Cole and personally I love dudes records and did I mention Born Sinner came out the same day as Yezzus and I listened only once to Kanye's before I just rocked with J. Cole's. I honestly feel like Kendrick Lamar saw this as a personal way to reach his colleagues that he does feel is influential in the rap game. I mean actual rappers. Not bubble gum rappers, not the Kmart Kid rappers even though they sound better than some mainstream guys. The fact that Kendrick Lamar took it to that level shows he's ballsy and isn't afraid to strike a nerve. He definitely did that and I hope that will jump start the heartbeat of rap again. It needed that defibrillator called Kendrick. Above I have included the control song for those of you that apparently live under a rock. I have also included some of the responses from various rappers below.

The infamous lyrics for your viewing purposes:
[Bridge: Kendrick Lamar]
Miscellaneous minds are never explainin' their minds
Devilish grin for my alias aliens to respond
Peddlin' sin, thinkin' maybe when you get old you realize
I'm not gonna fold or demise
(I don't smoke crack, motherfucker I sell it!)
Bitch, everything I rap is a quarter piece to your melon
So if you have a relapse, just relax and pop in my disc
Don't pop me no fucking pill, I'mma a pop you and give you this

[Verse 2: Kendrick Lamar]
Tell Flex to drop a bomb on this shit
So many bombs, ring the alarm like Vietnam in this shit
So many bombs, make Farrakhan think Saddam in this bitch
One at a time, I line 'em up and bomb on they mom while she watchin' the kids
I'm in a destruction mode if the gold exists
I'm important like the pope, I'm a muslim on pork
I'm Makaveli's offspring, I'm the king of New York
King of the Coast, one hand, I juggle them both
The juggernaut's all in your jugular, you take me for jokes
Live in the basement, church pews and funeral faces
Cartier bracelets for my women friends I'm in Vegas
Who the fuck y'all thought it's supposed to be?
If Phil Jackson came back, still no coachin' me
I'm uncoachable, I'm unsociable
Fuck y'all clubs, fuck y'all pictures, your Instagram can gobble these nuts
Gobble dick up 'til you hiccup, my big homie Kurupt
This the same flow that put the rap game on a crutch
I've seen niggas transform like villain Decepticons
Mollies'll prolly turn these niggas to fuckin' Lindsay Lohan
A bunch of rich ass white girls lookin' for parties
Playin with Barbies, wreck the Porsche before you give 'em the car key
Judgement to the monarchy, blessings to Paul McCartney
You called me a black Beatle, I'm either that or a Marley
(I don't smoke crack motherfucker I sell it)
I'm dressed in all black, this is not for the fan of Elvis
I'm aimin' straight for your pelvis, you can't stomach me
You plan on stumpin' me? Bitch I've been jumped before you put a gun on me
Bitch I put one on yours, I'm Sean Connery
James Bonding with none of you niggas, climbing 100 mil in front of me
And I'm gonna get it even if you're in the way
And if you're in it, better run for Pete's sake
I heard the barbershops spittin' great debates all the time
Bout who's the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas
Eminem, Andre 3000, the rest of y'all
New niggas just new niggas, don't get involved
And I ain't rockin no more designer shit
White T's and Nike Cortez, this is red Corvettes anonymous
I'm usually homeboys with the same niggas I'm rhymin' wit
But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you niggas
Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas
They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas
What is competition? I'm tryna raise the bar high
Who tryna jump and get it? You better off tryna skydive
Out the exit window of 5 G5's with 5 grand
With your granddad as the pilot he drunk as fuck tryna land
With the hand full of arthritis and popping prosthetic leg
Bumpin Pac in the cockpit so the shit that pops in his head
Is an option of violence, someone heard the stewardess said
That your parachute is a latex condom hooked to a dread
