The Saint Pete Cypher| #TBT
This cypher video is something I found insanely dope and what topped it off was it is homegrown and I definitely wanted to share with the world some dope Emcee's straight out of the 727. I live for conscious artist and people that evoke thought. I think they all had their own way of opening peoples third eye. I thought this would be perfect for a #TBT given it was done 5 years ago. Each artist has a unique sound and the lyrical content is there. From my own observation

IAmFlux X Co-Ke|Can't Wait Video Bomb w/ Rate
Watching the whole video it gave me the Usher and R Kelly "Same Girl" vibe from the jump. The production makes this not only a mood setter but it invites a very sexy feel to the song with the visuals. In "Can't Wait" Flux teams up with fellow St. Pete artist, rapper Co-Ke for an almost predictable meet up among friends when they realize they've been seeing the same woman. The story line is a plus and something I definitely look for when critiquing videos. The video was sexy and seductive a bit predictable with the story line but nevertheless I was entertained and I couldn't help but get into the song. I liked the overall feel of the video as well as the perspectives from a singer and rapper point of view. This song definitely fits in my niche of songs that I like that feature a male singer and male rapper on the song. I have given the video a thorough rating below and please don't forget to connect with the artist below!--M$C

Ten on Top W/ Five Below| Summer 17' Edition
It is the 9th month of the year and Cardi B has literally made a believer out of all of us. She has the #2 song in the country and even got Kodak Black on the remix for her hit "Bodak Yellow". While that is an awesome accomplishment for Cardi, we are here for my Summer 17' playlist. I am aware that a few of you have been patiently waiting for an update and I do apologize for the wait and hiatus. I have a bunch of awesome post lined up for you guys that I hope will bring back nostalgic memories as well as invoke thought and spark conversation. I wanted to come back with my summer playlist because unlike summers back when I was an adolescence I do not get to parlay during the summer or even go out for that manner these days. So my music intake is limited to late night binges on Youtube and my amped up Spotify list. I hope you guys enjoy this entry. And check out the dope visuals that I picked for summer 17' I think a few of you will agree that my picks are spot on.

Video Bomb:Live From 3rd| Young Huli w/ Rate
If you don't hear Young Huli do a Huli Mix then you know it ain't official. Lacing his own spin on Drake and Future's "Live From The Gutter" Young Huli starts 2017 "Live From 3rd". Anyone that wants to debate that Huli don't be speaking straight facts is most likely still hung up on 2016 feelings. I can always depend on Huli to make me get more into a beat that a mainstream artist popularize. Real rap in the era of mumble rappers is hard to pinpoint or even find. I appreciate the lyrical content, that reflects real life content that is designed to make you relate. I'm glad that he was one of the first to drop some new music. "Live From 3rd" is from Huli's latest mixtape "I'm A Fool" which dropped June of 2016. The visuals were shot by Mike Brooks Productions and have all the elements of a good developing story. While it seems the story may be building we will all have to wait it out an see what Young Huli does next. Get into the dope storyline below in the newest visuals from St. Pete native, Young Huli.
