IAmFlux X Co-Ke|Can't Wait Video Bomb w/ Rate

Watching the whole video it gave me the Usher and R Kelly "Same Girl" vibe from the jump. The production makes this not only a mood setter but it invites a very sexy feel to the song with the visuals. In "Can't Wait"  Flux teams up with fellow St. Pete artist, rapper Co-Ke for an almost predictable meet up among friends when they realize they've been seeing the same woman. The story line is a plus and something I definitely look for when critiquing videos. The video was sexy and seductive a bit predictable with the story line but nevertheless I was entertained and I couldn't help but get into the song.  I liked the overall feel of the video as well as the perspectives from a singer and rapper point of view. This song definitely fits in my niche of songs that I like that feature a male singer and male rapper on the song. I have given the video a  thorough rating below and please don't forget to connect with the artist below!

Musical Dopeness| First Lady Michelle Obama X Missy Elliot Carpool Karaoke

Simply because the Obama's will be gone soon, I have to share the First Lady's Carpool Karaoke experience. I don't know how I continuously find myself in the Youtube video vortex but one thing leads to another and I'm watching animals twerking and Michelle Obama getting crunk with Missy Elliot. I thought this would be a great way to start off the day with a little bit of the first family mixed with a lot of  that Urban culture that keeps getting appropriated. Check Out Our First Lady getting her freak on before they bid farewell to America.

Musical Dopeness| Manning Brothers #TBT "Football on Your Phone"

Given that football season is almost here and it is Thursday, I thought it was most appropriate to share some musical dopeness with you guys this #TBT. I enjoyed this commercial a couple years ago, and even touched on it a bit in The Jamie Foxx  Sprint commercial entry that I recently did. I love this commercial and the song was so catchy I originally downloaded it for my personal playlist. The commercial features Peyton and Eli Manning sporting bad wigs and 90's threads. Yet the track is so hot, I can't look a way! It is by far one of my favorite commercials ever. And Direct TV should run it every Football Season because it was that good. Check out F.O.Y.P below and have a good laugh at this #TBT.

#BubbleOnDeck:Tamara Bubble|Spotlight Artist

#BubbleOnDeck

Tamara Bubble is a rapper/ singer/song writer who was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She is a female rapper with a long list of achievements with a strong background in the church.Songwriting is what gave Tamara her push to enter in this male dominated industry and since a small child she had been singing in church. When she first started her ambitious pursuits she was more focused on modeling and acting until she met a producer at a photo shoot and she had the opportunity to sing for him. He asked her if she wrote music as well and right there on the spot she said "I do now" after leaving the photo shoot she promptly went home and wrote 10 songs and from there she was hooked. Her stage name is comprised of her middle name and the word Bubble which sheds light on her bubbly personality along with her prized asset. Finding influences from her early exposure to singing in church her Gospel background gives her a soulful presence. She loves harmonies so her musical influences took a direct hit towards all 90's R&B groups like Brownstone, SWV, En Vogue, 702, 112 ,Jodeci, and Boyz II Men.(To name a few) She credits her Rap influence to Biggie Smalls,"he's the reason that I respect lyricism in hip hop and I love his storytelling and flow." Tamara even credits Ella Fitzgerald for her love of Jazz and why she still scats even today. She credits Michael Jackson's overall stage performance as her reason to love Pop. She considers herself the ultimate blend of Pop, R&B, Jazz, Soul, and Hip Hop. She makes music that defies all genres. And with her raw vocals and heartfelt emotions backing her Tamara Bubble is able to create timeless hits that will transcend for years to come. Tamara has appeared in the Boston Globe, On NBC TV and is the host of her own online show called "U Gon Get Got". She has opened for major acts including but not limited to Lil Mo, Joell Ortiz, Cassidy, Snootie Wild, Yo Gotti, and Young Thug.(To name a few) She has also performed at the A3C Hip Hop festival, iMusic Festival, Southport Spring Festival and The Apollo Theater. She has charted on the independent radio charts and the top 200. She is currently promoting her new mixtape "JuiceBox" which is a 10 minute knock out fight as she murders old school beats, Slander Donald Trump, Fox News and Defends All Female rappers. Q & A with Tamara Bubble

[MSC]:
Has the achievements you've received made you more noticed by your peers?

[Tamara Bubble]:"
Yes, definitely. My peers already respect my work and many are fans too, but the accolades help in terms of collab requests and networking. I intentionally have not done any collabs (with mainstream / indie) on any of my projects because I do so much. My range is from Baritone to Soprano. I work with and blend so many genres so I wanted to be able to showcase ALL of what I do so people are fully aware of the BUBBLE, but they're seeking me out and showing love and it's really dope!

[MSC]:Who do you make your music for and why?
[Tamara Bubble]: I make a music buffet for life's problems! I'm that friend you can come to and ask anything on any touchy subject ... whether it's about clubbing, love, sex, relationships, suicide, crime, stereotypes, politics, current events, and more! There's no limit to what I won't talk about and my concepts are powerful, comical and sexy so my catalog has something you can dance to, cry to, laugh to, and make babies to 😉 ... all things bubbly, of course.
[MSC]:
Out of all the features you've done is there any you wish you hadn't done?
[Tamara Bubble]:
lol I never want any regrets and music chemistry is something you can't predict so I welcome the collabs, but like I said earlier I haven't done any features on my work or projects because I'm still in the process of revealing my full sound and all that I'm capable of. As far as features on other artists' projects ... they go through my management first (contact form on my official webbie TamaraBubble.com) and once the business make sense it's #BubbleOnDeck 🙂 so the music is gonna be popping.
[MSC]: Besides music what are some business ventures you're interested in just as much or more than music?
[Tamara Bubble]:
Well I'm also an actress, model, TV host, and pod-caster. I have an online TV show "U Gon Get Got" where we expose scammers in entertainment. I do it to give back to the indie community because there's no gatekeeper or resumes in entertainment. Anybody can just build a website, set up an email and a pay pal and start preying on the up and coming dreamers. I have a video podcast (on my youtube.com/tamarabubble) called "Bubble On Deck" where I talk about random topics ... all things bubbly and another podcast in connection with UGonGetGot that give advice and tips for newbies in entertainment. If that isn't enough lol I develop jingles, commercials, music licensing for businesses and even do a little consulting in my spare time ... If there's ever any lol. Those brand building services are on my Tamara Bubble Entertainment sister site http://allthingsbubbly.biz But to be truthfully honest, I'm not interested in anything more than I'm interested in music. I'm writing new material EVERYDAY and just as eager to record it, rehearse it, promote it and perform it! #BubbleOnDeck

Musical Dopeness|MIC LOWRY X Three R&B Covers

Musical Dopeness usually always leads me to international territory. I stumbled across these guys while on one of my many musical journeys, MIC LOWRY is a vocal harmony group out of Liverpool, England. Comprised of five memebers, Ben Sharples, Kaine Ofoeme, Akia Jones, Delleile Ankrah, and Michael Welch. Their genre you wonder?  R'n'B Soul. Please believe me when I say they give me soul, life, and water. They are handsome and they all blend so well together. Not to mention I feel like their name is a play on Bad Boy's Character played by Will Smith "Mike Lowry" so I dugs that. And the way they transitioned between each song. My Goodness! I get such a great feeling listening to them. I like Tory Lanez and Bryson Tiller and even got reconnected with the voice of Teedra Moses but this quintet did all three songs justice. I was pleased. I hope to see a lot more of them really soon. They're what my late nights and wine been missing.Don't believe me? Check out this group kill three covers at the same damn time below.

Twenty|16: Ten on Top, Six Below

Twenty years ago I was merely a seven year old girl. Still rocking barrettes and plaits and listening to whatever my twenty three year old older sister was listening to. I can recall moments of nostalgia as I compiled this list. Most of these songs if not all of them are going to jog a few memories, so I apologize in advance. These visuals are outrageous and the fashion sense was ridiculous. I hope you guys enjoy this list just as much as I did making it. Where were you in 96' when the music was just right? Where were you when this plethora of Rap and R & B dominated our radio waves, car stereos, and parties?  Check out what was rockin hot twenty years ago.

Flux|Love Yourself Cover

OK! Justin Beiber does what he does to the ladies well but Flux buys that girl sexy lingerie and then proceeds to peel it off of her. I do not know why nor am I trying to figure out why Flux revives my love for R&B but he does. His voice crawls up in your ear and croons the fuck out of your soul from your inner ear. It is because of him I am interested in adding more sultry R&B to my heavily saturated trap playlist. He out did himself with this cover and it is honestly the best cover I've seen. I loved the back drop of the downtown area familiar to St. Petersburg natives but also to tourist since it is near Sun Dial (Baywalk) area. Simple yet effective his interactions represented so many artist to me. If you love what you do and are really engulfed in your craft you'll be anywhere working. Flux delivered a preferred rendition for me and he did more than justice to this already classic song. Shout Out to FLUX and his beautiful execution to this cover. This is the First Official Cover Video by Flux. Check out my write up on Flux from three years ago as well!

Video Bomb: Cristol ft. Blackboi| I Cant Lie w/ rate

The official video " I Cant Lie" by Cristol ft. Blackboi dropped yesterday and has set the tone for this already hot summer we're in for. The video is set on a boat, at the beach, and at a mansion. It screams summer jam! It features cameos from local artist from St.Pete like Marvelous Youngin' Blow, and Famous Kid Brick and also features a lot of beautiful women of all racist parading around in their bathing suits. It definitely holds true to the type of music that Cristol produces and adds a little R&B with Blackboi's vocals. I enjoyed the snippet I saw a while back and was waiting to see the finished product. I hope you guys enjoy the final cut as much as I did. The rate and video are below so check them out. Enjoy!
