Ten on Top W/ Five Below: 76' Edition

Though it wouldn't be 13 years until a great was born named Ms. Street Cred 1976 had some killer music. I have started getting smart with compiling my Top 10 lists. I am committed to keeping my ears to the streets, even if the streets were in 1976. While some of these songs may not be familiar to some readers, there are quite a few that are still classics today. I enjoyed compiling this list as it helped to expand my musical library even more. I hope you guys enjoy these Top 10 Songs as well as a dope compilation of the Top 5 albums and a kick ass video compilation.

Top 10 Soundtracks X The Top 5 Best Music Biopics

Ever watched a movie over because of the music? Hell I have and I am not ashamed to admit it. I love movie soundtracks. I feel like a soundtrack makes or breaks the impact of the movie. Were the right tracks chosen for the right scenes? Will this song help tell the story better than words? I'm sure a lot goes into choosing the music for movies. I couldn't think of a better Top 10 to do and  I'm positive a few people will also agree that a few of these soundtracks were dope and I hope I have you guys having a movie night and paying much closer attention to the soundtracks. More than my love for movie soundtracks I love Biopic movies because they are based off true events. Resting below the Top 10 is 5 musically influenced Biopics that I love! Check those out and feel free to comment and tell your Top 10 and 5 if you have any. Enjoy!

Twenty|16: Ten on Top, Six Below

Twenty years ago I was merely a seven year old girl. Still rocking barrettes and plaits and listening to whatever my twenty three year old older sister was listening to. I can recall moments of nostalgia as I compiled this list. Most of these songs if not all of them are going to jog a few memories, so I apologize in advance. These visuals are outrageous and the fashion sense was ridiculous. I hope you guys enjoy this list just as much as I did making it. Where were you in 96' when the music was just right? Where were you when this plethora of Rap and R & B dominated our radio waves, car stereos, and parties?  Check out what was rockin hot twenty years ago.
