Video Bomb:Live From 3rd| Young Huli w/ Rate

If you don't hear Young Huli do a Huli Mix then you know it ain't official. Lacing his own spin on Drake and  Future's "Live From The Gutter" Young Huli starts 2017 "Live From 3rd".  Anyone that wants to debate that Huli don't be speaking straight facts is most likely still hung up on 2016 feelings. I can always depend on Huli to make me get more into a beat that a mainstream artist popularize. Real rap in the era of mumble rappers is hard to pinpoint or even find. I appreciate the lyrical content, that reflects real life content that is designed to make you relate. I'm glad that he was one of the first to drop some new music. "Live From 3rd" is from Huli's  latest mixtape "I'm A Fool" which dropped June of 2016. The visuals were shot by Mike Brooks Productions and have all the elements of a good developing story. While it seems the story may be building we will all have to wait it out an see what Young Huli does next. Get into the dope storyline below in the newest visuals from St. Pete native, Young Huli.

OneShot Hot|Video Bomb w/ Rate

Over a month ago OneShot Hot released a video called  "BrightHouse" It is directed
by Walka Visionz and at this point you guys should know I am a stickler for visuals. I was not all to thrilled with his lyricism as the lyrics were a little basic. I think with more challenging topics and being able to incorporate other words he will be someone to watch out for. The production was sick and it definitely gives you that trapper feeling and while the visuals weren't that complex it was a step above what most rappers do. He had simple scenes but I like that he didn't take the easy route and throw in a strip club scene with half naked girls dancing. If I have said it once, I'll say it again that scene is tired and played out and so cliche. I applaud whomever assisted him in deciding how his scenes were going to be because I know how easy it is to just say "go find some girls" The absence of females allowed me as a viewer to see OneShot Hot as an artist. While I think he can definitely do better lyrically I think he has potential to rise if he's willing to put the work in. Rap is more than having the funds to flash a couple stacks and produce a video. I thought the hook was catchy and after about the forth run back I caught myself even saying it.I am anticipating what is next and I hope he is working on those lyrics as I type. As always I have done a rate on this video and you can check it out below along with a few stills from the video.

#LONGLIVEBANKROLL|RIP Bankroll Fresh

                       August 2, 1987 -- March 4, 2016

March 4th 2016 the rap community took a major L when Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh, born Trentavious White died after he was shot. Full Story Here:Rolling Stone. I personally was truly hurt by the news and mourned how any person would. No I didn't personally know him but his music spoke to me and through his music I felt who he was as a person. I was really rocking with Bankroll and saw him taking off beyond any one's wildest dreams. I actually liked his music and in this cliche' rap scene it is hard for me to have a favorite and he was my favorite. I had just watched his new movie "Take Over Your Trap" a month before. I was next engulfed in his self titled album "Bankroll Fresh" which had actually been released late November last year but I had been playing it on a regular basis. I was anticipating what he had next. Unfortunately his life was cut short and we will never know the full magnitude of what he was about to do. He will be truly missed and though he is gone, he will forever live on through his music. I did compile a small playlist for you guys to check out some of my favorite videos and interviews from Bankroll Fresh I hope you guys like it.  #LongLiveBankRoll
