CGE Video Bomb w/ Rate (Insider Edition)

So this specific video bomb is near and dear to me because my camp is responsible for this production, Special thanks to 12/12 Production for their awesome videography skills. This video features WeBandz artist Cea$ar Christian and fellow St.Petersburg rapper Paublo Patrick. When the two collabed on this track I don't think any of us fathomed exactly what this video was going to convey all we knew was that we needed it to be " Poppin ". The beat is produced by our in house lead producer Tango who is also featured in the video along side Cea$ar and Paublo. With the larger than life lyrics from Cea$ar Christian, Paublo Patrick adds his real life lyrics to create a perfect combination. While this is my camp I felt the need to give an unbiased critique of something I had a role into bringing to fruition. While overall I am happy with the quality of the finished product, I felt that the girl chosen as the video girl should have been better selected.  She lacked the visual presence we needed and  she lacked the dance moves. Ironically as a collective we shared a few laughs about her moves and even named them. I thought Cea$ar Christian has a presence about him that assist his rapping style. His style is like none other and his usual swag went well with the concept. Paublo Patrick's delivery was  a direct reflection of him as an artist, although some people who had the opportunity to check out the visuals prior to the release did not like his energy it is my knowledge of his artistry that allows me to appreciate his calm never over the top demeanor. Cea$ar Christian took a more materialistic approach to "Poppin" while Paublo touched on real life scenarios in his usual prophet delivery manner. The visuals showcased a closed set scene, scenes from MLK 2017, and an outdoor scene featuring a dope Chevy with switches.  For this to be our first video it is perfect, but it is  a pivotal example for future visuals from Cheddar Gang. I am proud to be apart of a great concept and I pray we continue to help artist evolve as we embark on our musical journey as a whole. Please check out the visuals for "Poppin" below and be sure to connect with the artist as well. My full rate is below and any and all criticism is appreciated and wanted. The song will be available on Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal and all other outlets on 2/1.

Video Bomb:Live From 3rd| Young Huli w/ Rate

If you don't hear Young Huli do a Huli Mix then you know it ain't official. Lacing his own spin on Drake and  Future's "Live From The Gutter" Young Huli starts 2017 "Live From 3rd".  Anyone that wants to debate that Huli don't be speaking straight facts is most likely still hung up on 2016 feelings. I can always depend on Huli to make me get more into a beat that a mainstream artist popularize. Real rap in the era of mumble rappers is hard to pinpoint or even find. I appreciate the lyrical content, that reflects real life content that is designed to make you relate. I'm glad that he was one of the first to drop some new music. "Live From 3rd" is from Huli's  latest mixtape "I'm A Fool" which dropped June of 2016. The visuals were shot by Mike Brooks Productions and have all the elements of a good developing story. While it seems the story may be building we will all have to wait it out an see what Young Huli does next. Get into the dope storyline below in the newest visuals from St. Pete native, Young Huli.

Will Breeze| "Take That Long" Remix ft. Kreative Dreamz, Roc-Len & P.O.G w/ Rate

Will Breeze and his clique of spitters came through and tell's you why once again it Don't "Take That Long" with the remix. Shot by BBros Filmz, the shots are clean and with Kreative Dreamz starting the remix off with his quick punchlines and setting the tone for the other rappers, how could they not come hard? Following not too far behind the hook, Will Breeze picks up the rock and does his thing. With plenty of hype and bars to match. The video is basic but is efficient. A park scene and white backdrops simplifies this video. Most likely in attempt to not take away from the verses that each rapper has I liked the basic layout. Someone new on my radar is Roc-Len his delivery is a bit weird to me but it's a good weird. I wasn't expecting his voice to sound like that, and I hope he isn't T-Paining it because I actually like his delivery with his voice. Two newer faces that I'll be watching for is P.O.G. I honestly wasn't expecting the two girls to be rappers. Initially I thought they were just video girls but was quickly sideswiped by P.O.G. I think they are ok but can definitely be better. Their delivery was weak and they could have come harder. But the sex appeal and the content is there so I definitely have my eyes on those two. The track was catchy and relatable. I am definitely on the look out for more from each contributor. Of course this is a Video Bomb with a rate so check out my rate for "Take That Long" Remix below as well as some dope stills from the video.
