Video Bomb: Big D X JF w/ Rate

Anything with a classic hip hop beat immediately draws me in. Big D and JF delivers a track that you can just slide through the city to. As expected if a member of Dope Collection has any say so it is definitely a chill vibe. The familiar faces throughout the video gives you that family feel, like I'm with my people and we just chillin'. "Code of the Streets" mashes a rapper with a lyricist. I appreciate vibes like this because you get the best of both worlds. Both guys are considerably different in delivery but the content of each one's lyrics puts you on the same page just a different paragraph. I can't really say anything bad but the 2:48 seconds is such a tease. I would have loved to see it even longer.  The rate for these visuals are below as well as the video. Enjoy!

Video Bomb: B1 X Sosa X Young Huli w/ Rate

Below there is a triple threat going in on this song called "Came A Long Way" New to me and probably to a few of you, B1 teams up with other Burg natives Young Huli (Check out Im A Fool- By Young Huli) And Sosa, one half of rap due Tha Homies and delivers something for the streets. This song instantly screamed MTV Jams to me.  It is shot by BBROSFILMZ they have done quite a few videos for artist out of St. Pete check them out on youtube(BBROSFILMZ). The production is sick and the lyrics compliment the beat well. Each verse was diverse and the song gets me so hype. The idea of staying away from those that didn't necessarily mean you any good shouts motivation anthem. The dynamic look of each guy is visable. They each presented their own persona which didn't make it gimmicky, the entourage of people is typical though and is classic cliche for anthems of this sort but I appreciate scenes with all the people they cool with being present to show love during their time to showcase their talents. I enjoyed reviewing this video as well as having the pleasure to meet Young Huli and meet and work with Sosa. Check out some true soulja's of my city put on for our city. And check out my rate below!

#TBT Video Bomb| Boweeva X Franchise X Fo- Sheezy w/o Rate

Even though this video is two years old its only right that for #TBT I did a rare No rate on a few local artist from St. Petersburg. Fo-Sheezy, Franchise, and Boweeva are similar in content but all very different in their delivery. Each man displays his own persona and all compliment the song. Given that it is based off one of the most popular comedians out now "Kevin Hart" the cameos from random people saying a popular line from one of Hart's skits from his stand up "Laugh at My Pain" made the video enjoyable. I did like each artist and hope you guys enjoy this #TBT video.

Double Bomb!|Paublo Patrick| Ride On Em w/ Rate| The Interview w/o Rate

Paublo Patrick and I after finishing "The Interview"
Mr. Idgaf dropped a video for his single "Ride On Em" while I see where he was trying to go with the opening of the video, it really didn't convey during the video. I had the pleasure of hanging out with him the day the video was shot and he is a really humble, down to earth, and cool dude. You're everyday street rapper is riding down on someone about their issue and Paublo Patrick delivers that presentation flawlessly in his lyrical content. Though the video could have had a more extended visual concept to accompany the lyrical content it was a good video. The 10 Hunnit movement was definitely present in the video, while I only recognized Teo, I am more than sure that a few more recognizable faces are there. I liked that besides the cliche' club scene with the entourage he had a dressed down outside scene that portrayed a wild, fuck some shit up demeanor. It was cool and showed that unlike how he was first presented dressed in a dope fit that he could turn down the swag and get dirty. I would love if you guys could press play on the latest from Paublo Patrick and check out Paublo Patrick's latest song called "The Interview" featuring Me! The rate and video are below, enjoy!
