Pine County Finest 2| Project Youngin & Teo Mixtape Review

Yooooooooooooooooo! Hat's off to everyone behind this project. I am not worthy!

I am so glad to have the opportunity to check this out. And it was Mamazin! These two

particular artist can leave music listeners a little bias as I have played music by both on

Hood Watch as well as featured them on here. While some are bias, I am a fan of Teo and

I am not a fan to many. I enjoy Project Youngin's artistry and find there young and fresh

feel to real rap appealing. I loved that they incorporated tracks that real fans should be

familiar with like "She Ready" which is one of my favorites, "Won't Change" and that

definite crank " Right Der". I love the cover art it was epic. The DJ Hosting's are great, and

each DJ's individual identity showed and help these gentlemen produce a great project.

I am so glad to share this with real rap lovers, This is something you need to keep in your

car. This is that mixtape you slide to on a beautiful day. The content is aimed towards

those that can relate to the reality in the streets, Given there are hoods, projects, and

ghettos across the globe it should touch all. These two artist should definitely be in your

line of sight if not this is me forcing them upon you.  Get with the  movements

#YNR90sGang & #TenHunnit  because  #StreetCredFuckinWitEm. As this was emailed to

me I currently do not have any links to direct you to but if you are in the city hit up the

artist to get your copy. And when an appropriate link is available I will update.

The Who With The What #TMWFP Review

Well It's been almost a week since I did  a two post entry on ABR. In the midst of  him doing all of that with me, he dropped his mixtape The Man with Faux Pas and for those of you that's like "whoa whats  Fox Past" You're saying it wrong and you should go google it! I first would like to say If you are sleep on this artist you really should lay off the sleeping pills. For godsake I just presented him to you jerks on a silver platter. If you still want to act oblivious to his artisty you haven't checked out #TMWFP. He snapped, he made you think, and without saying it, he dared you to challenge him. It featured " Bruh Man" and " 5 Babies" Both being favorites of mine. It also featured six other dope tracks that showcased  Burnright's uncanny ability to tap dance on the pre frontal cortex of your brain. This was evident with his blunt content, his strong delivery and of course his beats. I don't know whether to call it a mixtape, an EP, or in his words an experiment since he is a Scientist ( I'm convinced). I enjoyed his take on what he likes to call  "Conscious Trap" It was definitely a medley of awakening punchlines and it's production set me the listener in a state of confusion because there was times I wanted to just hit a full Khloe Kardashian twerk but the lyric content wouldn't allow me. I wanted  to know what he was going to say next. I thoughtfully listened and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I am never disappointed in his artistry and what he puts out. I send well wishes, continued motivation, and success to Alec Burnright and the entire CLPNation family. I have added links to listen and download #TMWFP as well as ABR Spotlight Review I did 6 days ago. Enjoy the goods and make sure you tell him this particular mu'fucka sent you!

Dreams $old Separately Review

So Mighty Jai reached out a while back and asked me to check out his mixtape
"Dreams $old Separately" and off rip I am just a lover of the usage of old samples. It simply gives the track an automatic plus for me because it gives it a timeless feel. I liked that it started out with an old feel and as I transitioned through each song there were different genre touches to each song. Listening to "King Solomon" I got a more modern rap feel but take the song "Deep" and I get a more cutthroat look into Might Jai's life. I loved the total Hip Hop vibe. It is always refreshing to come across an artist that isn't talking just about money, cars, and  hoes. There are bigger problems in the world and I'm glad he sheds life to those problems. I thoroughly enjoyed  this mixtape and can't wait to hear more from this dope artist. Also let me not forget to mention he included spoken words over music! That was another plus since I am a poet myself. I really appreciated the music offered and definitely recommend this mixtape.

All Hail Mighty Jai!! Check out "Dreams $old Separately" On Datpiff.com

The Only Show 112213 Review

Last month I had the pleasure of attending The Only Show 11/22/13 sponsored by CLP Nation. The Only Show was a rap showcase/mini concert  that was orchestrated by a group of creative and crazy talented
emcees. I would describe there flow style or their genre type to be indie rap, underground, or something I like to call knowledge on the fly. Each artist has their own unique style and it shows with their personal style, demeanor, and stage presence. Upon receiving an invite via Facebook for the event months prior I had already peeped the event coming together on my timeline. You could tell the artist were excited and you knew when they were working on something creative. SHOUT OUT! to whomever made those dope ass gold Pyramids. That's a definite souvenir that I've tucked away. Well dang my shout out kinda ruined my story but anyways...  I don't usually venture out too often if the scene isn't something I am interested in or have a curiosity towards but I had been listening or had heard songs from a few of the artist and was pretty excited to check it out live. The Only show was promoted by not only myself but by the countless CLP Nation Fans yes they have real life ye ye ye Wild man call Live Action Fans! And believe me when I say they go so hard! The artists' also pumped major promo on the web as the weeks slowly crept away. Once October turned to November I had already r.s.v.ped to Facebook standards and had further confirmed my attendance by purchasing a ticket to the show. I didn't know what to expect but as the weeks went by and my ticket was personally delivered by one of the  CLP scientist, Alec Burnright(ABR). He further confirmed how awesome the show was going to be. As the week of the show came to an end Friday 11-22-2013 was finally here. Pre show pictures of props popped up a few hours before the show and you could tell time had been spent making them and I can appreciate individuals being creative any day. I was impressed by the artistry of each artist that I got to see. Unfortunately due to my guest being tired from a long days work I had to leave early but was able to catch ABR being super hype, shook hands with the mastermind behind The Seminar, and caught Scott Tanner, SuCoo and Alec Burnright and Dilligaf kill it on stage. From what I saw I was glad that I had attended the event and enjoyed the mix crowd of people. It was refreshing to be in a room full of good vibes and great music. I would not pass up another opportunity to attend another show by CLP Nation or any of the artist that performed. I also would like to bring up  that when I attend shows I am not only listening for new artist to check out, I'm also looking at everything you bring as an artist. I personally think presentation is everything and from the way tickets were given out with the awesome pyramids to the artists' stage presence I was impressed. In school you get a grade for participation and the crowd  all got A's  in participation because the emcees interacted well and got them involved. I think an artist that can control his audience has them under his or her spell and Crowd participation was incredible and the energy that they had reflected whatever artist graced the stage. They were so live and the crowd really responded well to them. The even took place at a venue called The Cycle Lounge. I had been hearing a lot about it so I was glad I was able to check it out as well. I would recommend all of the artist for immediate review because the crafts that they have are definitely dope and underestimated. Below I have listed artist information for each artist and my favorite song from each artist. Enjoy the musical collection of some very dope emcees. Please share this review and check out each artist and CLP Nation for more information.
