Video Bomb:Live From 3rd| Young Huli w/ Rate

If you don't hear Young Huli do a Huli Mix then you know it ain't official. Lacing his own spin on Drake and  Future's "Live From The Gutter" Young Huli starts 2017 "Live From 3rd".  Anyone that wants to debate that Huli don't be speaking straight facts is most likely still hung up on 2016 feelings. I can always depend on Huli to make me get more into a beat that a mainstream artist popularize. Real rap in the era of mumble rappers is hard to pinpoint or even find. I appreciate the lyrical content, that reflects real life content that is designed to make you relate. I'm glad that he was one of the first to drop some new music. "Live From 3rd" is from Huli's  latest mixtape "I'm A Fool" which dropped June of 2016. The visuals were shot by Mike Brooks Productions and have all the elements of a good developing story. While it seems the story may be building we will all have to wait it out an see what Young Huli does next. Get into the dope storyline below in the newest visuals from St. Pete native, Young Huli.

"Paper Jam"| Fast Money Ferrari Mixtape Review

"Cause I'm the best you never had, and the best you'll ever have, your exes gone be mad, and the ones after that."
--Fast Money Ferrari
Tonight ft. Tha Kidd CT & Whitney Jones

Up and coming St. Petersburg artist Fast Money Ferrari doesn't shy far from his name sake as he raps about money, making moves, and over coming strife in his mixtape "Paper Jam. Produced by Shawty T and Hosted by DJ Beelow (both of St.Petersburg), the tape has been out in the streets for almost a year now and is a 9 track project with features from the likes of Kidd CT, Denero and DJ Spitta to name a few. Each song has a different vibe and the production varies. The track "Kush Kandy" incorporated solid verses and a slow chopped and screwed vibe that gives you that chill vibe you would want if you indulge in the herbal. I do feel like he should have really thought about song placement a bit some songs seemed they didn't fit where they were but other than that, I am interested to see what else he does in the near future. If I had to choose a few tracks that I'm rocking with, they would have to be "Bad B.*tch" ft. Denero, "Paper Jam", and "Nothin' To Prove" ft. Mic Jones. "Bad Bitch" is that song you wanna hear to get the crowd hype. It's a shame its so far down the track list that you might not get to experience it unless you make it through all his street tracks that smother the being half of the mixtape. "Paper Jam" is tough and is a great introduction to the mixtape. "Nothin To Prove" is that anthem that you need to uplift you when you feel like you out here alone and need to find your inner beast. I am not disappointed in the product in which Fast Money Ferrari has presented but I would have liked to see maybe a few more songs and better song placement.  Given he is new and trying to build his body of works up I am confident that Fast Money Ferrari will continue to grow as an artist.

I'm A Fool|Young Huli Mixtape Review

"He want to floss,I want to grind, he want to shine, I want the money."
--Young Huli
"Cut It" Remix

Today Young Huli dropped his anticipated mixtape "I'm A Fool" and with popular beats being graced by Young Huli you can only listen as he elaborates on what is common struggles and regular day to day life. This is by far the most anticipated mixtape to date for me and I have been waiting over a year for it. He gets into real story telling like Yo Gotti. He painted a vivid  picture in his song "Bad Dreams"  as he goes into full details about a dream that went sour and upon waking didnt have much to show for it. He has a few tracks produced by Nictunez and a few features from St. Petersburg rappers like Gwop, Jitt & Stone. Majority of the beats are familar but once you hear a Huli Mix its a whole other level. I really wish  there were a few more features but I am happy with the finished project and it was worth the wait. I had enough time over the last year to be familar with some of the tracks and because of that I feel like I already connected with the mixtape. "Time Remix" is my favorite Huli Mix and with notable punchlines its only right that you make time to check out this #NEW mixtape from Florida's own Young Huli.I hope whatever Huli has up his sleeve for his next project isn't far behind and he sticks to what he does best.... Acting a Fool on these beats.

CO-KE| "Straight Up" Video Bomb w/ Rate

Directed by Kidd Fresh, Co-Ke is the man in his latest video. "Straight Up". The track is from his debut Mixtape #1Hundred which features my favorite "Booty Club". I have to express much appreciate to Co-Ke for offering a story line! Finally someone with a creative mind and a bit of manly moxie to capture his music listeners with not just their ears but their eyes. As soon as I heard the track I liked it but the video is by far my favorite visual because it offers more than the cliche, barbecue, the bodacious asses, and the occasional artist cameo. This video actually conveyed a story. "How you gone play a real playa?" Is the million dollar question and Co- Ke sets sucka ducks straight when it comes to ever thinking you can get one over on him. This is definitely what I like to call sliding music.[ Music that you can drive to and vibe.:)] I freaking loved this visual, I have to put this on the personal playlist now. If you have not already done so go check out Co-Ke's mixtape #1Hundred.[Link Below!!] I hope you guys enjoy the latest visuals from my homie Co-Ke. Check out the visuals below and check out my rate as well. This one's a 5 hands down, Straight Up!

Pine County Finest 2| Project Youngin & Teo Mixtape Review

Yooooooooooooooooo! Hat's off to everyone behind this project. I am not worthy!

I am so glad to have the opportunity to check this out. And it was Mamazin! These two

particular artist can leave music listeners a little bias as I have played music by both on

Hood Watch as well as featured them on here. While some are bias, I am a fan of Teo and

I am not a fan to many. I enjoy Project Youngin's artistry and find there young and fresh

feel to real rap appealing. I loved that they incorporated tracks that real fans should be

familiar with like "She Ready" which is one of my favorites, "Won't Change" and that

definite crank " Right Der". I love the cover art it was epic. The DJ Hosting's are great, and

each DJ's individual identity showed and help these gentlemen produce a great project.

I am so glad to share this with real rap lovers, This is something you need to keep in your

car. This is that mixtape you slide to on a beautiful day. The content is aimed towards

those that can relate to the reality in the streets, Given there are hoods, projects, and

ghettos across the globe it should touch all. These two artist should definitely be in your

line of sight if not this is me forcing them upon you.  Get with the  movements

#YNR90sGang & #TenHunnit  because  #StreetCredFuckinWitEm. As this was emailed to

me I currently do not have any links to direct you to but if you are in the city hit up the

artist to get your copy. And when an appropriate link is available I will update.

#VideoBomb|Downgrade w/o Rate| Nyemiah Supreme

I finally found a reality TV show that wasn't about breaking cast members down. Sisterhood of Hip Hop single handily took over my Tuesday nights at 9pm and I got familiar with a few mainstream female rappers that I had prior knowledge of and a couple that I had never heard of. I was a faithful fewer and probably was secretly apart of the promotional team for the show because I found myself saturating my Instagram feed with promotional photos about the show. It was refreshing to see female artist that would otherwise be seen as competition coming together to unite the female emcees. The backers of some of these woman were well known artist and producers like Timberland, Tank, Rick Ross and various others. I have done a few video bombs from the ladies of the show and since they are already known there is no rate for their videos but I would love to get you guys familiar with the current and future female rappers of our time. Enjoy Nyemiah Supreme's video "Downgrade" below. and be on the look out for Season 2 of Sisterhood of Hip Hop! Download Nyemiah Supreme's latest mixtape where "Downgrade" can be found.....--->There Can Be More Than 1

Video Bomb: Blow YMS ft. Haitian Fresh w/ Rate

Since I heard the snippet about two weeks ago via Facebook I have
been patiently waiting for the whole enchilada. This song is the epitome of a hot summer for St. Petersburg rapper Blow. He teamed up with that "Zoe" Haitian Fresh and delivered what I consider a saucy summer banger. I love the fact that they tied in the Spanish being utilized with the likes of idolized Drug lord, Tony Montana. There we’re a few scenes at the beginning from the iconic movie, Scarface and even ended the video with the familiar scene “Say Hello to my little friend” Amazing use of words, perhaps they just taught a few Spanish class drop outs a few things. I want you guys to check out the video that dropped yesterday and be on the lookout for more from Blow and his YMS camp. I have included my rate for this video and hope you guys enjoy Blow’s latest work. #Pressplay And check out his latest mixtape[Been Livin Off Wealth] hosted by the late and great Dj Nando

The Who With The What #TMWFP Review

Well It's been almost a week since I did  a two post entry on ABR. In the midst of  him doing all of that with me, he dropped his mixtape The Man with Faux Pas and for those of you that's like "whoa whats  Fox Past" You're saying it wrong and you should go google it! I first would like to say If you are sleep on this artist you really should lay off the sleeping pills. For godsake I just presented him to you jerks on a silver platter. If you still want to act oblivious to his artisty you haven't checked out #TMWFP. He snapped, he made you think, and without saying it, he dared you to challenge him. It featured " Bruh Man" and " 5 Babies" Both being favorites of mine. It also featured six other dope tracks that showcased  Burnright's uncanny ability to tap dance on the pre frontal cortex of your brain. This was evident with his blunt content, his strong delivery and of course his beats. I don't know whether to call it a mixtape, an EP, or in his words an experiment since he is a Scientist ( I'm convinced). I enjoyed his take on what he likes to call  "Conscious Trap" It was definitely a medley of awakening punchlines and it's production set me the listener in a state of confusion because there was times I wanted to just hit a full Khloe Kardashian twerk but the lyric content wouldn't allow me. I wanted  to know what he was going to say next. I thoughtfully listened and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I am never disappointed in his artistry and what he puts out. I send well wishes, continued motivation, and success to Alec Burnright and the entire CLPNation family. I have added links to listen and download #TMWFP as well as ABR Spotlight Review I did 6 days ago. Enjoy the goods and make sure you tell him this particular mu'fucka sent you!
