IAmFlux X Co-Ke|Can't Wait Video Bomb w/ Rate

         

Watching the whole video it gave me the Usher and R Kelly "Same Girl" vibe from the jump. The production makes this not only a mood setter but it invites a very sexy feel to the song with the visuals. In "Can't Wait"  Flux teams up with fellow St. Pete artist, rapper Co-Ke for an almost predictable meet up among friends when they realize they've been seeing the same woman. The story line is a plus and something I definitely look for when critiquing videos. The video was sexy and seductive a bit predictable with the story line but nevertheless I was entertained and I couldn't help but get into the song.  I liked the overall feel of the video as well as the perspectives from a singer and rapper point of view. This song definitely fits in my niche of songs that I like that feature a male singer and male rapper on the song. Side Chick Say What?!|Musical Dopeness

                 

All the nights that I spend falling down countless rabbit holes and it definitely never fails that I am intrigued by those who aren't necessarily musically inclined but with the right instrumental they snap on the beat. Well I stumbled across what sounds like a side chick anthem but she stating straight facts. She definitely fired off on Yo Gotti's "Down In The DM" and she has plenty to say for the 1:25 that the video runs. Thank me later for this short yet musically dope freestyle. I do not know who the girl is but shawty snapping. Check It Out Below!

Flux|Love Yourself Cover

      

OK! Justin Beiber does what he does to the ladies well but Flux buys that girl sexy lingerie and then proceeds to peel it off of her. I do not know why nor am I trying to figure out why Flux revives my love for R&B but he does. His voice crawls up in your ear and croons the fuck out of your soul from your inner ear. It is because of him I am interested in adding more sultry R&B to my heavily saturated trap playlist. He out did himself with this cover and it is honestly the best cover I've seen. I loved the back drop of the downtown area familiar to St. Petersburg natives but also to tourist since it is near Sun Dial (Baywalk) area. Simple yet effective his interactions represented so many artist to me. If you love what you do and are really engulfed in your craft you'll be anywhere working. Flux delivered a preferred rendition for me and he did more than justice to this already classic song. Shout Out to FLUX and his beautiful execution to this cover. #SONGBOMB W/ RATE| SHOWOUT TRIPZ

         
Tampa artist ShowOut Tripz dropped his new single " I Deserve You" a few weeks ago and I must say, I  really like the song. I became familiar with Tripz  after I checked out his mixtape "Band Camp". That mixtape included the single "Eat It Like Cake" which is a popular song to twerk to and  "L.O.V. (Lingo)" which is one of my favorites off the mixtape. Tripz is back with something that beats the speakers silly thanks to Average Kid and even though he states clearly in his hook that he isn't trying to be cocky this song has cocky written all over it. The beat compliments this song well and I'm not mad with the blatant auto tune feel, it too compliments the song well and adds something different for Tripz. I've heard him say some real ish and I've heard him motivate some epic ass shaking. This song wasn't anything like his typical twerk song or his relatable advice he gives his listeners about loyalty. I did not feel like shaking my ass. I felt like I should be vibing in someone club, dressed like a boss, with the flyest man in the world on my arm. It's a different vibe then I'm use to from Showout Tripz but I am glad he took it this route. Check out "I Deserve you" by Showout Tripz and I have included my rate below.

#SongBomb|Zell Heffer w/ Rate

 Given my busy schedule I hardly ever make it to sound cloud on my own to explore unless I see someone post about it via social media. Well I am proud to say that for once I just wanted to catch up on what I had missed. During this musical catch up session I was pleasantly surprised at all the new music but one song by one particular artist became embedded into my musical rolodex. Zell Heffner released a new sound a few days ago and I have since acquired the mp3 for the radio and have added it to my personal playlist. The songs production is an added bonus as it aids in the delivery of the content.Zell gives you a look into the heart of a confident good guy who is being not only reassuring to his female but is also letting her know what he has to offer compared to her past relationship. I love what I'd like to call a "Hood R&B" song. It's definitely a track for the ladies and I definitely want you guys to be on the look out for his upcoming mixtape "No Regrets" coming real soon! Check out my rate below and the audio for "Winner"

Famous Kid Brick Move's On| Video Bomb w/ Rate

Well besides how quick the summer came and went, local based artist haven't stopped dropping music. The summer represented for some the end of a relationship and St. Petersburg native rapper Famous Kid Brick has put his own spin on "Moving On" With a killer storyline Famous Kid Brick adds to the growing list of Hussch Boy classics. He definitely can get all listeners to relate to a common issue that arrives when a relationship fizzles. He speaks the truth about relationship breakups that everyone has experienced even with an additional party added. The whole "Maybe it's me and maybe it's you" is such a factual statement that many can't just say but FKB said it for everyone. I actually enjoyed not only the visuals provided but the content within his lyrics. Below I have included the rate as well as the video.
