I first have to say that Paublo Patrick is one of the few artist that I work with on a regular basis and he stays on me about everything! So much so that I have received several Facebook messages scolding me about why "Young Lord" and "Fire" have yet to be featured. With all that being said, I have two Video Bombs below from 3921 front man Paublo Patrick and these two visuals are sure to put Paublo Patrick in your immediate sight. Given that "Young Lord" dropped first, I will start with that.Directed by BBros Filmz,Young Lord is another dope imprint in music from the mind of Paublo. He often grabs you with sound clips from familiar visuals before he ever drops a verse. Paublo Patrick's lyrics literally touch my soul. Given the interviews him and I have conducted I am well aware of where he came from and where he is going. He gives you a wide open view into real life strife. Sometimes you can't quite pinpoint where he is going with his visuals but once you see the entire thing come together it is mind blowing. He always has nice scenes and I love that he almost always incorporates a beach scene. The scenes of him with his children and in the studio shows he is just a regular guy living life. And the fact that he placed himself in a room reenacting the night he lost his mother is touching and sad all at the same time. Being as young as he was when he lost her only amplifies what the video is saying and I have no idea how he was able to even participate in the scene knowing what it represented. He does not disappoint with these visuals and continues to surprise me with what he puts together. Paublo Patrick bares his soul, his very existence, his life in this track. Before there was visuals there was audio and when I heard this particular track I ran it on some of my earlier shows on Hood Watch. Coming from his own Ent. 3921, It is a song that like the iconic Beanie Sigel did, Paublo is dropping knowledgeable gems about real world issues. People all have fears, enemies, and ambition. The visuals are calming with the beautiful nature scene at Gulfport Beach, the scenes at the cemetery puts you in a space that is peaceful but all too familiar, as everyone can relate to the lose of someone. The scenes are nicely planned out and I felt every word in this song. It had raw and real lyrics and while it is coming after something so classic, Paublo Patrick put his own touch to it. In my honest opinion he did the instrumental justice and I want others to witness Jesus decline the blunt and why Mr. IDGAF is never lying in his lyrics. I see only good things for Paublo Patrick in the coming years. Press Play and Check Out the latest visuals from Paublo Patrick and of course my rate on this bomb.
